On 2 May 2025, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of Sumy National Agrarian University was
held, during which the following agenda items were considered:

At the beginning of the solemn part of the event on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the
foundation of Sumy National Agrarian University, the Rector thanked: Larysa POLIATYKINA, Yurii
KOTVIAKOVSKYI, Viacheslav POPSUI, Rimma DOLBONOSOVA, Oksana YURCHENKO, Vitalii KUNDA,
Liubov PAVLYUCHENKO, Svitlana NECHYPORCHUK, Olha HETMANENKO, and Tetiana KRUSH, Natalia
POPOVA, Volodymyr BESARAB, Galina LISUNOVA, Natalia SEMERNIA, Andrii UDOVYCHENKO, Yuriy
DIACHENKO, Yana YURCHENKO, Oleksandr DEMTSUN, Oleksandr HLADUSHKA and Natalia KRAVETS.
The following were awarded incentive awards from the Department of Education and Science of the
Sumy Regional State Administration: Elena HALICHENKO, Ekaterina DUDNIK, Natalia TARELNYK, Natalia
VARFOLOMAYEVA, and Irina MASLOBOIEVA.
The following were awarded diplomas of the Sumy Regional State Administration: Inna SOKHAN and
Alexander CHEKAN.
Natalia KOLODNENKO and Victoria VECHORKA were awarded diplomas of the Sumy City Council.
Olga ROHOVENKO and Marina SAMILYK were awarded diplomas of the Sumy City Council.
Encouraging awards from the Department of Agricultural Development of the Sumy Regional State
Administration were presented to: Alexander DRANIK, Halyna REBENKO, Viktor ONICHKO and Halyna
KOMLIKOVA.
A choir of SNAU students performed a vocal performance of the song ‘Beyond the Night’ under the
direction of Roman DEMENKO and Anna PAKHOMOVA.
The exemplary ensemble of modern ballroom dance ‘SWAY’ enchanted the audience with the grace and
sensuality of the choreographic number ‘I am Ukraine’.
The ceremony ended with a vocal and choreographic performance by Leonid VIVSIUK together with the
student choir of the SNAU to the song ‘You, my Ukraine’.
In the second part of the meeting, the members of the Academic Council of Sumy NAU considered the
issues on the agenda. Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Work Marharyta
LYSHENKO reported on the adoption of the curriculum for the academic year 2025-2026.
Deans Nataliia BOLHOVA and Vladyslav ZUBKO presented reports on the results of work in 2024 and the
prospects for the development of the Faculty of Food Technologies and the Faculty of Engineering and
Technology.
Their directors presented reports on the work of the separate structural subdivisions of Sumy NAU in
2024 and the prospects for the development of the colleges: Anatolii LITVYNENKO reported on the
results of Hlukhiv Agricultural College of Sumy NAU; Andrii STAVYTSKYI reported on the results of the
Okhtyrka College of Sumy NAU; Oleksandr ILLIENKO reported on the results of the Romny College of
Sumy NAU.
We sincerely congratulate the staff of Sumy NAU on the 48th anniversary of the university and thank
