Sumy National Agrarian University joined the work of the Coordination Council on Family Policy and Combating Domestic Violence under the Executive Committee of the Sumy City Council, within the framework of which a social video of SNAU was presented, aimed at drawing attention to the problem of violence.
The meeting took place in the context of a discussion of the topic “Effectiveness of the activities of interaction subjects in implementing measures to combat domestic violence in the Sumy city territorial community” and brought together representatives of local governments, educational institutions, law enforcement agencies and social services. The participants focused on strengthening interagency cooperation and identifying effective mechanisms for preventive work.
Special attention during the event was paid to the presentation of a social video of Sumy National Agrarian University against violence, created by students of the institution. The video project became an important component of the city’s information campaign and a vivid example of the active civic position of young people, aimed at forming zero tolerance for violence in the youth environment.
The university was represented at the meeting by practical psychologist Olha Semeniuk, who systematically works in the field of psychological support and is ready to provide professional assistance to both students and SNAU employees.
Sumy National Agrarian University consistently participates in social initiatives and campaigns aimed at combating violence, realizing their key role in forming a safe, responsible and conscious educational environment. The university will continue to support preventive measures aimed at protecting human dignity and strengthening the culture of mutual respect in the community.
