On October 27, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language – a holiday that unites all who love, honour and multiply the Ukrainian word. This is a day when we remember the spiritual power of language, its ability to shape a nation, create unity and inspire development.
For the educational community of Sumy National Agrarian University, this day is of special importance. After all, language is the basis of learning, scientific knowledge, professional development and civic self-determination. It is a bridge between generations, transmitting not only knowledge, but also love for the native land.
Today, the Ukrainian language sounds confidently – in scientific discussions, in creativity, at international forums and at the front. It has become a symbol of the resilience of our people, their dignity and independence. That is why it is extremely important for us, educators, to preserve its purity, develop a culture of speech and foster a respectful attitude towards the word among young people.
