The autumn of 2025 was extremely successful for Andriy Boyar, a student at the Law Faculty of Sumy National Agrarian University. The athlete represented the university and Ukraine with dignity, winning prizes in three prestigious competitions of various levels.
Andriy Boyar is a true source of pride not only for the law faculty, but for the entire Sumy National Agrarian University. His achievements are a shining example of determination, perseverance, and dedication, as well as proof that the students of SNAU not only study successfully, but also represent the university with dignity on the national and international stages.
In September, Andriy took third place at the Ukrainian Grappling Championship for adults, which took place on September 10–12 in Chernivtsi.
On October 17–18, in Bucha, he won gold at the Ukrainian Free Fight Championship for adults in the weight category up to 84 kg.
He finished the fall season with a brilliant performance at the U-20 Pankration World Championship, held on November 4–9 in Loutraki, Greece, where he took second place in the Amateur MMA category up to 84 kg.
“It took me 14 years to reach this podium. Since childhood, I dreamed of participating in this championship — and finally, my dream came true. Ahead of me lies analyzing the fights, working on my mistakes, and even more training. I am confident that next time, I will definitely win first place!” – Andriy shared.
The athlete also expressed his gratitude to his family for their constant support, to his coaches for their professional training and belief in him, and to his sparring partners for their help at every stage. Andriy addressed special words of gratitude to the Ukrainian defenders, thanks to whom he has the opportunity to represent Ukraine on the international stage and glorify it with his achievements.
Sumy National Agrarian University sincerely congratulates Andriy Boyar on his outstanding sporting achievements! We wish him further victories, new accomplishments, good health, and inspiration to reach even greater heights in sports and life.
