Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences, ecologist and botanist. Graduated from Sumy National Agrarian University, where he obtained education as an agronomist, ecologist, and forestry specialist. Held positions as faculty dean, professor, and since 2022 – Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work at SNAU.
Studies biodiversity, condition and dynamics of plant populations in the North-East of Ukraine, leads international scientific projects. Member of scientific and technical councils, expert commissions and editorial boards of scientific journals.
Has numerous awards, including from the Ministry of Education, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Actively works on the development of agricultural science and environmental research.
Born on August 29, 1977 in Lebedyn, Sumy region.
1994–1999 – studied at the Agronomy Faculty of the Sumy Agricultural Institute (now Sumy National Agrarian University), specialty “Agronomy”, specialist diploma with honors
2017–2018 – studied in the master’s program at the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Nature Management of Sumy National Agrarian University, specialty “Ecology”.

04.1999 – 11.1999 – worked as a seed agronomist at the educational and research farm of SDAU, Sumy district, Sumy region;
2000–2017 – worked as assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor at the Department of Botany and Physiology of Agricultural Plants (now Ecology and Botany).
2003 – defended dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences, specialty 03.00.06 – “Botany”, on the topic “Structure of populations of the main dominants of the herb-shrub layer in the forest massifs of Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Park”.
2007–2022 – Dean of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Nature Management of Sumy National Agrarian University.
2016 – defended dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences, specialty 03.00.16 – “Ecology”, on the topic “Ecological and biological properties of the herb-shrub cover of forest ecosystems in the North-East of Ukraine”.
04.2017–08.2017 – worked as a professor at the Department of Park and Forestry Management.
Since 09.2017 to present – professor at the Department of Ecology and Botany of Sumy National Agrarian University.
2017 – received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Botany and Physiology of Agricultural Plants (now Ecology and Botany) of Sumy NAU.
2017 – received the academic title of Professor of the Department of Park and Forestry Management of Sumy NAU.
Since 08.2022 appointed to the position of Vice-Rector for Scientific-Pedagogical and Educational Work of Sumy NAU.
