Svitlana Lukash

Dean of Faculty of Economics and Management

PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Administration.

Graduated from Sumy National Agrarian University with a degree in “Accounting and Auditing” (Bachelor’s and Master’s, 1998–2003). In 2014, she defended her PhD dissertation in economics on the topic of leasing operations in agriculture. She worked at “Ukragroleasing” (2003–2016) and has been working at Sumy NAU since 2015, where she holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Administration.

She teaches courses in public administration, economics, and marketing in both Ukrainian and English. She has participated in international projects such as Erasmus+, Jean Monnet, and others. She completed internships in the USA, Germany, and the Netherlands, and holds a B2 level English language proficiency certificate.

General information

From 1998 to 2002, studied at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumy National Agrarian University, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing (specialization: “Finance and Credit”) with honors.

From 2002 to 2003, continued at the same university and faculty, earning a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing (specialization: “Finance and Credit”) with honors.

From 2003 to 2007, pursued postgraduate studies at Sumy National Agrarian University.

In 2014, defended her PhD dissertation in Economics (specialty 08.00.04 – Economics and Enterprise Management by Types of Economic Activity) on the topic: “Development of Leasing Operations in Agricultural Enterprises.”

From 2003 to 2016, worked at the Sumy branch of the National Joint Stock Company “Ukragroleasing” in various roles: economist, deputy chief accountant, economic security advisor to the director, and head of the leasing department.

From 2015 to 2019, worked at the Department of Economics as a Senior Lecturer and later as Associate Professor.

Since 2019 – Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Administration.

Since 2017 – Acting Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management for International Student Affairs.
