SNAU and Eridon Group: launch of a strategic partnership for future agrarians

Published: September 15, 2025

On September 10, 2025, a working meeting was held between Sumy National Agrarian University students and representatives of Eridon Group, one of the leaders in Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

The Eridon Group of Companies is a powerful agro-industrial enterprise with great potential for development. The company’s land bank covers more than 50,000 hectares, comprising 10 agricultural enterprises in 50 settlements across Ukraine. The company employs 1,600 people and has over 13,000 shareholders. The company has a developed infrastructure, including elevators with a simultaneous storage capacity of up to 126,000 tons of grain, and is also actively engaged in livestock farming, particularly dairy and meat production. In total, the company’s farms have about 5,200 head of cattle.

The first step towards partnership was an online meeting between Olga SPODY, manager of the Eridon company, and applicants for educational and professional programs: Veterinary Medicine, Technology of Production and Processing of Livestock Products, Agricultural Engineering, and Agronomy. The event was attended by students in their final years of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the company’s production facilities, learn how modern robotic farms operate, hear the opinions of specialists already working at the company, and learn about the “Agro Future with Eridon Agro” program, an initiative aimed at supporting young specialists in the agricultural sector.

It is nice to note that Sumy NAU applicants were actively interested in career prospects, working conditions, the motivation system, and opportunities for professional growth in the company.

Based on the results of the meeting, the main directions for further cooperation between Sumy NAU and Eridon Group were determined:

  • introduction of dual education;
  • organization of industrial training;
  • employment of students and university graduates.

Students who are interested in the offer can apply to participate in the program using a special QR code or fill out a questionnaire at the link provided during the meeting.

Joint work in the direction of developing dual education and practical training will allow SNAU students to gain not only knowledge but also valuable practical experience in the country’s leading agricultural enterprise.

We sincerely believe that cooperation with the Eridon Group will be an important step in training highly qualified personnel for the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
