On 18 February, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted the defence of master’s theses by students of the second cohort of the Ukrainian-British international double degree programme in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security.
Sumy National Agrarian University congratulates the second cohort of master’s students from the international double degree programme, implemented jointly with the Royal Agricultural University (Great Britain), on the successful completion of their studies and defence of their theses. The Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security programme is an example of effective international academic cooperation and the integration of Ukrainian agricultural education into the European educational area.
The master’s research presented covered a number of key contemporary challenges, including the adaptation of the agricultural sector to climate change, the implementation of ESG principles and European standards for non-financial reporting, the development of sustainable communities, the implementation of Green Deal approaches, the application of precision farming technologies, and the restoration and development of rural areas.
The high level of the presented works, their analytical depth and relevance, as well as the triple academic review system, have become convincing confirmation of the quality of master’s training and the effectiveness of international cooperation between partner universities.
