SNAU and “Talangleprom” join forces to develop dual education

On February 27, Sumy National Agrarian University and “Talanglegprom” LtD signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at expanding practical opportunities for students and developing modern educational approaches.

During the meeting, the university was represented by Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical, and Educational Work Marharita Lyshenko, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Svitlana Lukash, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Lyudmila Nahorna, as well as scientific and pedagogical staff of the SNAU faculties. The company was represented at the signing by First Deputy Director General Serhii Danko and company representative Oleksandr Lavryk.

“Talangleprom” LtD is part of the TALAN Group, a Ukrainian association of international light industry
enterprises with a production capacity of approximately 3.5 million pairs of shoes per year. The main production base is located in Romny, Sumy Region. The association has a research and production center for the development and manufacture of personal protective equipment. The company operates in accordance with modern European quality standards, using high-tech equipment from leading European machine-building companies. The company’s products are in demand both on the domestic market and among large corporate and government customers.

The goal of the cooperation is to align educational programs with the real needs of the labor market and production, develop students’ practical skills, involve the university’s scientific potential in solving the company’s applied problems, and promote the employment of graduates. An important component of the partnership will be the joint development and updating of educational programs, the implementation of practice-oriented projects, and the training of highly qualified specialists.

During the meeting, representatives of “Talanglegprom” LtD presented to students of the SNAU faculties the scale of production, modern quality standards, opportunities for industrial practice and the introduction of a dual form of education, as well as career growth prospects in the company.

The signing of the memorandum opens up new opportunities for the university to integrate education, science, and production. Such cooperation will contribute to strengthening the practical component of educational programs, developing dual education, increasing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market, and forming a sustainable partnership between the academic community and modern Ukrainian business.
