Sumy National Agrarian University is again represented in the global ranking “QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026” – an authoritative international study that identifies the world’s universities with the greatest contribution to sustainable development, environmental responsibility, social impact and effective management practices. On November 18, 2025, the analytical company QS Quacquarelli Symonds published the results of the ranking, which included 1992 universities from different parts of the world, including 18 Ukrainian higher education institutions, including SNAU.
The representation of Sumy National Agrarian University in the ranking is a confirmation of the university’s many years of systematic activity in the direction of sustainable development, the implementation of ecological and socially significant innovations, the implementation of interdisciplinary scientific projects, the development of international partnerships and the creation of modern opportunities for students and scientists. SNAU consistently modernizes its educational and research infrastructure, supports environmental initiatives, forms a culture of responsible attitude to natural resources, and actively cooperates with business and communities to build a sustainable model of social development.
The QS Sustainability ranking evaluates the activities of universities in terms of their ability to implement the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The methodology includes an analysis of environmental sustainability, quality of education and dissemination of knowledge, equality and inclusion, health and well-being, graduate employment, international cooperation, ethics and transparency of management decisions.
Entry into QS Sustainability 2026 is an important international result that confirms that Sumy National Agrarian University plays a significant role in shaping the global agenda of sustainable development, educating a generation of specialists capable of ensuring the reconstruction and future of Ukraine.
