A great leader, a caring family man, a real patriot of his country and just a person with a kind heart Oleksanrd Shuliepov will always remain in the memory of his relatives and friends.
The hero was a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumy National Agrarian University from 1996 to 2001. After graduation of the institution he successfully worked in the Sumy branches of Оshchadbank, managed “Silpo” stores. Many his friends proudly note: “He put all his efforts into development of these stores, so that later they would become the most popular in the city.”
Later he moved to Odesa and became a head of a retail chain. When russian troops violated the territorial integrity of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Oleksandr took the situation in the country close to his heart. For 9 months the man fought in Donetsk region before a full-scale invasion. Later, he went on vacation and completed military training in Lviv until February 21, 2022. The day of the beginning of the full-scale invasion, February 24, 2022, radically changed his plans for the future. He began to defend his Motherland in Kharkiv direction. The hero served as an artilleryman in a separate Artillery Brigade No. 40. He was in the very hell of war and courageously defended the independence of Ukraine.
Relatives lost any contact with the hero on March 6, 2023. Oleksandr was in Kharkiv region. He tragically was killed on the battlefield. The hero is buried in Odesa, but his family plans to reburial Oleksandr in Sumy, on the Alley of Glory, when it becomes possible.
