SNAU IS IN THE TOP-100 HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINE, THE MOST POPULAR AMONG APPLICANTS

The 2022 entry campaign is in full swing (running from the 1st of July to the 30th of September). As of the 29th of August, the editors of the Vstup.OSVITA.UA information system compiled a rating of the most popular institutions of higher education in Ukraine. The main criterion that was taken into account was the number of applications from entrants to study to obtain Bachelor’s and Master’s qualification levels on the basis of complete general secondary education in all forms of education.

SNAU took the 89th position. Despite the war and territorial proximity to the Russian border, we managed to improve our performance compared to the 2021 entry campaign. For example, this year until the 29th of August, 4,608 applications were submitted, and last year there were 4,463.

Among the most popular specialties of the Bachelor’s level of education based on CGSE (Complete General Secondary Education);

  • 208 “Agroengineering” (114 applications):
  • 201 “Agronomy” (170 applications);
  • 075 “Marketing” (82 applications);
  • 081 “Law” (120 applications).

The following educational programs are desirable for applicants to the Master’s level of education based on a Bachelor’s degree:

  • “Agroengineering” (65 applications);
  • “Agronomy” (126 applications);
  • “Veterinary medicine” (82 applications).

To illustrate the success of the admission campaign of the Sumy National Agrarian University, we will provide some statistical data regarding applicants to the Bachelor’s level of education on the basis of Complete General Secondary Education:

  • 492 entrants set SNAU as the first priority;
  • 18 applicants who submitted electronic applications to SNAU passed one of the NMT (National Multi-Test) subjects for a maximum of 200 points;
  • 3 entrants who submitted electronic applications to SNAU completed two NMT subjects for 200 points;
  • one entrant passed all three subjects of NMT for a maximum of 200 points.
