On 20 November, Sumy National Agrarian University held the official opening of its renovated student space. The event was dedicated to International Students’ Day and was created as a modern hub for all university students — a place where they can bring their ideas and projects to life.
The opening ceremony was attended by the university administration: the rector, vice-rectors, faculty deans, and heads of structural divisions. Their presence emphasized the importance of supporting students and fostering active cooperation between the youth and SNAU leadership.
The rector presented the students with a modern laptop to support effective work on all student initiatives and projects. In his address, he stated:
“Student years are not only about acquiring knowledge but also about shaping yourselves as leaders and innovators. You are the driving force of our university and the future of our country, which now, in challenging times, requires particular resilience and creativity from all of us. We are proud of your civic engagement and your desire to take action. That is why we have created this new space for you and are providing the tools to bring your ideas to life.”
The space underwent a major renovation: new furniture, updated equipment, and redesigned work areas were introduced. A presentation of the renewed hub was conducted by SNAU’s student rector, Andrii Kolodnenko, together with his team he presented the students new opportunities for learning and creativity.
The renovated space also hosted the official awarding of the most active SNAU students: Roman Starchenko, Vladyslav Padalka, Anna Rozhenko, Diana Balan, Snizhana Onyshkevych, Olha Yeremenko, Serafym Diachenko, Tetiana Liubchenko, Tetiana Miniailo Maryna Shapoval and others.
Special recognition was given to representatives of SNAU colleges:
