SNAU scientist got Ukrainian Parliament award for young scientists for 2025

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced its decision to award the Prize to young scientists for 2025. Among the laureates is a representative of Sumy National Agrarian University, Doctor of Philosophy in Food Technology, Associate Professor of the Department of Food Technology and Safety Tetyana Synenko.

The Ukrainian Parliament’s Award for Young Scientists is one of the most prestigious state awards in the field of science. It is awarded for significant scientific work, innovative developments, and the results of fundamental and applied research that contribute to the development of the country’s scientific potential. The award is given to scientists whose work has practical significance and demonstrates a high level of
professional competence.

Tetiana Synenko is a renowned expert in food technology who combines scientific activity with public leadership. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Food Technology and Safety at SNAU, an active member of professional scientific communities, and a representative of the university in the Youth Council at the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine. Her scientific career is distinguished by consistency, practical orientation and a desire to introduce modern technologies into the food industry.

The award was given for the scientific work ‘Technological aspects of using derivatives of plant and dairy raw materials in food products,’ in which the researcher substantiates new approaches to combining components of plant and animal origin. The results of the research are important for the development of the modern food industry: they contribute to the creation of more balanced, cost-effective and environmentally friendly products, and also open up opportunities for optimising food formulas and expanding the product range.

Sumy National Agrarian University sincerely congratulates Tetiana Synenko on her outstanding achievement.
