SNAU shapes career paths: new opportunities for students

Published: March 28, 2026

On 25 March 2026, SNAU students took part in the online event ‘Digest of Opportunities for Young People’, organised by the Sumy branch of the Sumy Regional Employment Centre. Over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students joined the event.

The event served as a platform for discussing current labour market challenges and opportunities for professional development for young people amid economic transformation. Participants received practical information on modern tools for employment, skills development and starting their own business.

The programme covered the following topics:

  • the employment service’s modern digital services;
  • current labour market trends;
  • in-demand professions and job vacancies;
  • opportunities for supporting youth entrepreneurship.

Particular attention was paid to the state business support programme under the government’s ‘єРобота’ project. Participants learnt about the mechanisms for obtaining funding and the prospects for developing their own businesses.

The speaker at the event was Olha PANASENKO, a specialist from the Sumy branch of the regional employment centre, who presented practical tools for young people to engage with the labour market.

SNAU students actively joined the discussion and debated the unique employment opportunities, showing keen interest in the proposals presented.

Participation in such events is part of the university systematic efforts to enhance the competitiveness of its graduates. Organising such initiatives is one of the key steps in SNAU comprehensive campaign aimed at promoting youth employment, establishing cooperation with employers, and adapting the educational process to the needs of the modern labour market.

SNAU is consistently fostering an environment where education is combined with practical experience, and students gain not only knowledge but also a clear understanding of their own career path.
