Dual education at SNAU continues to develop as an effective model of professional training that combines the resources of the university and partner companies, providing students with knowledge and skills for future professional activities.
An important factor in building a successful dual education system is finding reliable business partners and taking into account their vision of dual education development.
As part of the DFID Mentor School initiative, Sumy National Agrarian University presented its comprehensive case of implementing and developing dual education in wartime.
The partners of the event were: SE NMC VFPE, Coordination Center for Dual Education of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Ukraine and NGO “Research and Consulting Center for Business, Marketing and Law”.
Sumy National Agrarian University presented its achievements to a wide range of professionals who demonstrated various aspects of dual education: from strategic vision to real-life experience of applicants. At the same time, the event demonstrated the experience of dual education on the basis of the Hlukhiv Agricultural and Technical College of the SNAU.
It is pleasant to note that the presentation of the SNAU case was also joined by business representatives, in particular, Anna Perekrestova, Chief Technologist of Yekaterinoslavsky, LLC, who emphasized the importance of mentoring and cooperation with educational institutions in training young professionals.
All participants of the event gained new knowledge on the issues of resolving conflicts in the workplace that arise during the implementation of dual education, thanks to the speech of Lyudmila Vasylega, HRD, international expert, consultant, and mentor.
The event brought together about 100 educators and business representatives. We express our gratitude to Iryna Perevozova, the organizer and moderator of the event, Chairman of the Board of the Research and Consulting Center for Business, Marketing and Law, Head of the Coordination Center for Dual Education, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, for inviting us to participate in the DFZO Mentor School
