On April 29-30, 2025, the delegation of Sumy National Agrarian University took part in the All-Ukrainian Round Table “New Design of the Higher Education Quality Assurance System” held at Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych.
The event was attended by members of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, members of the working group on the development of the Concept for the Modernization of Higher Education, rectors, vice-rectors of leading higher education institutions from all regions of Ukraine, representatives of the academic community and students. Sumy NAU was represented by Rector Ihor KOVALENKO and Associate Professor of the Department of Management named after Professor L.I. Mykhailova, NAHEQA trainer Iryna SKLYAR.
The participants of the roundtable discussed the conceptual framework for updating the architecture of the quality assurance system, introducing institutional accreditation, developing a network of independent institutions, and outlined the current challenges facing the Ukrainian higher education system.
During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between Sumy National Agrarian University and Chernivtsi National University name after Yuriy Fedkovych.
The participation of the SNAU in the round table promotes the university’s active involvement in the processes of reforming higher education in Ukraine, and the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych opens up new opportunities for the implementation of joint educational and research initiatives.
