Children are joy, laughter, smiles and, of course, our future. Happy and promising. For Ukrainians, since the beginning of hostilities, Children’s Day began to acquire a characteristic meaning. Our little ones have to be protected from bullets and the sounds of explosions, from being in bomb shelters and the sounds of sirens.
Children deprived of parental care need special attention. The Volunteer Service of Sumy National Agrarian University “Under the Wing of Good of SNAU” held a charity event “Summer of Joy” on Children’s Day, during which they collected food and funds for orphans who are currently in the Ulianovka school and in the foster care in Sumy.
Students, teachers and employees of SNAU managed to give children a real holiday.
The monitors of the hostels collected 1,500 hryvnias. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology bought cookies for 2,200 hryvnias. A student of the Faculty of Economics and Management bought a box of sweets at his own expense. Others made charitable contributions, brought clothes and products to the department for organizing educational work for SNAU students.

Students personally handed over gifts to the children. There were games, fun, dancing, a picnic in the fresh air and lots of laughter! Attention and sincerity are the main gifts for children deprived of parental care.
We are sure that right now, during the war and aggression of the russian federation, we should pay special attention to children, their well-being, mental and physical health
