On July 31, 2025, Rector of Sumy National Agrarian University Ihor Kovalenko visited the Ukrainian Leadership Academy in Kyiv to sign an important document – a cooperation agreement.
The Ukrainian Leadership Academy is a value-based formation platform for personal and social development for young people. The Academy combines a year-long school-university program for motivated teenagers aged 16-20 with large-scale social projects for society.
The ULA is not just an educational project, but a powerful space where young people learn to take responsibility for themselves and their actions, create changes in everyday life, and act on the values that each of them cherishes and nurtures. Throughout the year, students of the academy have the opportunity to learn the art of teamwork, critical thinking, spatial awareness of the mood of others, and how to choose their own path despite the influence of other people’s opinions.
Thanks to the signed cooperation agreement, Sumy NAU students will be able to meet with various teachers, ministers, editors, and entrepreneurs, in short, with those who inspire change and work for good. In addition, the program participants will have a unique opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills that will be useful in their professional activities.
This partnership is more than just a memorandum. It is an invitation to our students to join the community that is shaping a new Ukraine. We believe that together with the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership, Sumy NAU will be able to open even more young hearts that not only want to, but can change the world.
