Sumy NAU joined the international DAAD project “Digital Ukraine: ensuring academic success during the crisis (2022)

Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, which has been a strong partner of Sumy NAU for more than 20 years, continues its support for improving the quality of the educational process. As part of the new DAAD international project “Digital Ukraine: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis (2022)”, the second stage of the summer online school “Improving digital competences in virtual education: challenges in times of crisis” was organized, which united teachers and PhD students from 6 Ukrainian universities from different parts of Ukraine: Sumy National Agrarian University; Mykolayiv National Agrarian University; National University of Live and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine; Poltava State Agrarian University; Vinnytsia  National Agrarian University; National University of Water and Environmental Engineering. The national coordinator of the project is prof.Larisa Kalachevska. Six experts are conducting intensive trainings for six days, as a result of which young teachers will be able to demonstrate master classes using learned teaching methods and digital tools. Professors Svitlana Lukash and Alina Brychko joined the team of lecturers from Sumy NAU. Summer school topics: creating video content for teaching and learning using Camtasia software; conducting and facilitating online lectures using digital tools; hands-on use of Zoom’s best tools and features; designing and creating digital content, solving problems and innovations in educational activities using cloud services; designing an environment for the organization of virtual training based on Microsoft Teams, integration of external applications depending on the type of activity.
