THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF 1ST OF MAY 2023

On the first working day of the 46th year of work of Sumy National Agrarian University, on May 1, 2023, a regular meeting of the Academic Council was held.

Rector, Chairman of the Academic Council Volodymyr LADYKA noted new challenges and prospects for further development of our higher education institution.

Liudmyla VARENYK, Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of Students and Postgraduates of SNAU, together with the student activists congratulated the staff of the university on the 46th anniversary and presented a patriotic clock.

Members of the Academic Council elected a counting committee and unanimously voted for awarding the academic titles of Associate Professors to Anna SAKHNENKO and Serhii SHENDRYK.

The following issues were on the agenda:

  1. On the results of work in 2022 and prospects for the development of the Faculty of Biology and Technology (reported by: Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Technology Viktoriia VECHORKA).
  2. On the role of the Scientific Library in the information support of the educational and scientific process in the university complex of SNAU and SNAU colleges (reported by: Director of the library Halyna KOMLYKOVA, co-rapporteurs: Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Vladyslav ZUBKO; Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Oleksandr NECHYPORENKO).
  3. On the results of the functioning of the internal system of ensuring the Quality of Education (reported by: Head of the Department of Quality of Education Olena RYBINA).
  4. Advanced training and internships of SNAU teachers (reported by: Head of the Academic Department Nataliia KOLODNENKO).
  5. Miscellaneous.

5.1. Questions of scientific work (reported by: Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities Yurii DANKO).

5.1.1. On the recognition of certificates of foreign internship.

5.1.2. On the recognition of certificates of advanced training.

5.2. On the recommendation of educational publications (reported by: Vice-Rector of Academic and Educational Work Ihor Kovalenko).

5.3. On approval of the regulation “on the procedure for recognizing results obtained through non-formal and/or informal education” (reported by: Vice-Rector of Academic and Educational Work Ihor Kovalenko).

After listening to the speakers the members of the Academic Council made appropriate decisions.
