The all-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the speciality ‘Economics of agro-industrial complex and agriculture’ brought together young scientists of Ukraine

Despite the difficult conditions of today – martial law, constant air raids, uncertainty – Ukrainian students
continue to be actively engaged in scientific activities, demonstrating their unbreakable spirit, thirst for
knowledge and desire to develop agricultural science in Ukraine.
This academic year, the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the speciality
‘Economics of Agro-Industrial Complex and Agriculture’ was held. This year, the following sections of the
competition were approved:
“Economics of the agro-industrial complex’
“Economics of Local Development”
“Agricultural Management”
“Agricultural Marketing”
“Sustainable development and food security.”
The competition received 97 scientific papers from various higher education institutions of Ukraine. All
papers were independently reviewed, and the 34 best papers were recommended for the second round.
On 22 April 2025, the final scientific and practical conference was held, during which students presented
the results of their research, demonstrating a high level of preparation, analytical thinking and scientific
argumentation.
The geography of the competition participants covered 13 leading educational institutions of Ukraine:
– Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University
– Sumy National Agrarian University
– Mykolaiv National Agrarian University
– Poltava State Agrarian University
– Vinnytsia National Agrarian University
– State Institution ‘Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University’
– Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University
– Khmelnytskyi National University
– Polissya National University
– Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S.Z. Hzhytskyi
– State University ‘Zhytomyr Polytechnic’
– National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine
– Private Higher Educational Institution ‘Vinnytsia University of Finance and Economics’
All the participants of the competition have proved that science remains an important component of the
development of our country even in the most difficult times. Their perseverance, dedication to the
scientific cause and professionalism inspire deep respect and admiration.
