On the occasion of the Education Workers’ Day, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted a festive concert, during which the best teachers were congratulated and honored, and the creative teams presented unforgettable emotions from their performances.
The rector of SNAU, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Volodymyr LADYKA, opened the event with a welcome speech. The leader recalled his school and student years, his relationships with teachers, compared them with the current situation, and also thanked the education workers for their tireless and successful work during the difficult times of the full-scale invasion:
“I want to thank you for being at the university, for transferring your positive emotions to students, because these steps determine the formation of beliefs of a young person on the path of life. The university has its tasks: to give good knowledge. But all teachers carry out the mission of “teaching to learn.”
Employees of SNAU were congratulated with the best awards: thanks from the director of the Department of Education and Science of the Sumy Regional State Administration and thanks from the rector.

Svitlana KHURSENKO, Yarmila TKAL, Oksana BONDARENKO, Iryna HABENKO, Iryna DENYSENKO, Yuliia SKYBA, and Nina MATLASH were congratulated by the rector for their conscientious, fruitful work, high professionalism, and on the occasion of the Education Workers’ Day.
According to the tradition, incredible festive creative numbers for those present at the holiday were prepared by the creative collectives ” Sway ” and ” Vesna “, by Daryna HORBACHOVA and Kateryna OSTRA.
Dear education workers! We sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday! We are proud and highly appreciate your efforts, because right now, under your eyes and with your support, a new generation of Ukrainian people is growing and forming: strong, fearless, independent, ambitious, dreamy and persistent.
