On May 19, the final meeting of the thematic student club took place: “Prospects of the dual form of obtaining education as viewed by students, or what young people expect from dual education.” The event took place within the framework of the project “Dual education for Ukraine”, which is implemented in partnership with the public organization “Ukrainian Marketing Association” and the USAID Project “Economic Support of Ukraine”. The moderators of the event were the Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities of Sumy National University Yurii Danko and the associate professor of the marketing department named after A.F. Pavlenko (KNEU named after Vadym Hetman) Olena Buchynska.
Moderators noted that the meeting of the student club is the final one for this academic year, so the greatest attention during the event was paid to the speeches of students who already have significant success in studying under the dual form of education. Tetiana Kalchenko, student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Sumy National Agrarian University, shared her own impressions of participating in the dual education project. Gaining practical experience, improving soft and hard skills, university support, a high-quality mentoring system of the enterprise and the growth of one’s own financial independence are the main benefits-messages voiced by the student in her speech.
In general, during the meeting of the thematic student club, applicants from various institutions of higher education talked about their own experience of studying under the dual form, outlining the main prospects of this form of education. Lively discussion, exchange of opinions, questions, answers, comments – these are the words to describe the general atmosphere of the online event. At the end, the moderators invited all winners to join the DualClub.UA Telegram channel https://t.me/DualClud.
