24 February is a very difficult date for Sumy National Agrarian University, as it is for all of Ukraine. It is a day that represents thousands of ruined lives and countless losses and trials that have changed our lives forever.
Buildings and infrastructure can be rebuilt. But it is impossible to bring back the dozens of students, graduates, and teachers of the university who stood up to defend our country and died defending Ukrainian soil on the front lines. The memory of them will remain in the hearts of the university community forever.
Nowadays, SNAU lives with this memory every day. The university has introduced a daily minute of silence to honour the fallen. The community actively participates in nationwide information campaigns and charitable initiatives and systematically develops the volunteer movement, supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and those in need.
We believe in Ukraine’s imminent victory. We are convinced that every joint action, even the smallest one — a word, a contribution, support — will bring this day closer. We remember. We unite. We work for the future.
