Sumy National Agrarian University celebrated St. Nicholas Day, one of the warmest winter holidays, which traditionally brings children and adults together in anticipation of miracles and positive changes.
Despite the difficult times Ukraine is going through, the university community gratefully remembers those who defend our freedom. It is thanks to the courage and resilience of Ukrainian defenders that we are able to live, work and bring joy to children during the winter holidays.
The day before, the grand opening of the main New Year tree took place at SNAU. Students, university staff and their children gathered together to enjoy the festive atmosphere. The youngest guests were treated to a festive programme, entertainment and sweet gifts from St. Nicholas.
The Rector of the University emphasised that he would like to see as many sincere, bright and joyful moments in the life of our community as possible:
‘May such meetings happen more often, despite all circumstances. We are sincerely grateful to our heroes, thanks to whom we can gather together and continue to live, work and move forward.’
SNAU congratulates everyone on St. Nicholas Day and wishes a bright, cosy and successful winter. May your homes be filled with kindness, warmth and inspiration, and your hearts with faith in victory and peace.
