In order to improve the mood of student youth and involve them in meaningful leisure time, the “Student Art Day” project was introduced at Sumy National Agrarian University on 05.10.2022 with the support of “Youth Center “Romantika”, Sumy City Council and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The concept andintroduction plan of the event were developed by Ye. Prydatchenko, I. Shvets and S. Zinchenko. The team won 5,200 hryvnias!
The event consisted of several parts: introduction of the participants, three coffee breaks, art therapy with the participation of L. Mykhaylenko, a psychologist of SNAU, a master class in floristry by I. Krychkevych, a master class in candle making under the leadership of A. Avramenko.
During the project introduction 30 participants and 5 speakers were involved. Through the efforts of young people, as a result of master classes and art therapy, 30 handmade products were created.
The coordinators and speakers of the event achieved their main goal. Students emotionally recharged, learned about art therapy methods, talked to each other.
We thank the organizers for holding such an important project. Thanks to the students who participated. We are sure that such measures are important for maintaining the emotional state in difficult times, for the comprehensive development of young people.
