On January 22, 2026, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of Sumy National Agrarian University was held, which was held in a mixed format. The key issue on the agenda was the report of the SNAU rector on the results of the university’s activities in 2025.
The SNAU Supervisory Board is an important body of strategic management of the university and is formed from leading scientists, representatives of the political community and business. Its activities are aimed at ensuring the transparency of management decisions, strengthening the interaction of the university with state institutions and employers, as well as supporting the sustainable development of the higher education institution.
During the meeting, the rector of Sumy National Agrarian University Ihor Kovalenko presented a thorough report on the results of work in 2025. The report covered a wide range of areas of activity – from educational, scientific and international cooperation to the analysis of the consequences of Russian hostile attacks, the processes of restoring infrastructure and updating the material and technical base of the university, its faculties and separate structural units.
The Rector’s report sparked a lively discussion among the members of the Supervisory Board. Active participation in the discussion was taken, in particular, by the Chairman of the Board Yurii Lupenko, and its members Aleks Lissitsa and Olha Trofimtseva, who noted the significant achievements of the university, the systematic approach to management and the efficiency of the work of the SNAU staff in the face of modern challenges.
Following the meeting, the Rector’s report was highly appreciated by the Supervisory Board, which confirms the high level of work organization and professionalism of the staff of Sumy National Agrarian University both within the functioning of the educational institution and outside it.
