On December 22, 2025, a festive New Year’s quiz for student youth was held at Sumy National Agrarian University. The event was organized with the aim of creating a positive pre-session atmosphere, emotionally recharging students, and developing cooperation with state youth institutions.
Sumy National Agrarian University has been actively cooperating with the Youth Policy Department of the Sumy City Council for a long time. Representatives of the department have been repeatedly invited to the university to hold joint events aimed at supporting youth initiatives, developing informal education, and forming an active student community.
The quiz theme was dedicated to New Year and Christmas traditions. The program consisted of six rounds, including karaoke, recognizing ritual songs, questions with historical facts, New Year and Christmas visual tasks, and establishing correspondences between traditional holiday dishes and countries of the world. The participants adhered to the festive dress code, and after the main part of the event, an informal afterparty with a festive table, organized with the support of the primary trade union organization of the university, awaited them.
More than 20 students took part in the quiz, who were united in five teams with creative names. According to the results of the intellectual game, the winning team received a certificate from the Department of Youth Policy of the Sumy City Council, certificates from the rector Ihor Kovalenko, and branded souvenirs. All participants of the event were awarded with memorable gifts and diplomas for active participation.
