Public Catering Complex (PCC) – a structural unit of Sumy National Agrarian University.
The PCC was established to ensure rational nutrition for students, university staff, and other consumers, to distribute both in-house produced food and purchased goods, and to provide services for various events.
Within the structure of SNAU’s Public Catering Complex operate the student café Ginkgo, as well as Banquet and White Halls for formal celebrations. The complex is capable of serving approximately 600 clients per day. Since nearly all food products come from the university’s own subsidiary farm, the cost price is significantly reduced, resulting in food prices at Ginkgo café being 30–40% lower than those in city dining facilities. Moreover, product quality is monitored at all stages – from cultivation to consumption.
The mission of the Public Catering Complex is to meet consumer demand and increase turnover.
To achieve this mission, the complex performs the following functions:
PCC production units operate according to approved menus and price lists for dishes and purchased items. Visitors can choose from a variety of options, including first courses, meat and fish dishes, hot and cold appetizers, salads, side dishes, buffet items, and in-house semi-finished products.
