To perform scientific research, the Laboratory is equipped with: workplaces, technical facilities, stands, sectional cabinets for the preservation of devices, dishes, consumables and scientific equipment.
The laboratory operates on the areas and scientific and laboratory base of the university, has the appropriate material support. Promotes scientific seminars, scientific schools, scientific conferences, symposia and congresses, develops the necessary scientific and methodological materials for the educational process in accordance with the current and promising directions of the university’s educational and scientific works.
The laboratory is the base for scientific research by applicants and young scientists in the following specialties: 101 “Ecology”; 202 “Plant protection and quarantine” 205 “Forestry” and 206 “Gardening.”
The Laboratory has modern devices and equipment:
Climate chamber TMT-9210 – designed to simulate artificial environmental conditions by controlling temperature, humidity, day and night lighting cycles, as close as possible to the cultivation of forest and ornamental plants in natural conditions;
KrASZ 244 mini-tractor – ideal for caring for valuable planting material of forest and ornamental plants;
Forte 70 cultivator;
Mounted mower, segment – 1.4 m;
Moisture analyzer OHAUS MV23 – moisture content analyzer with infrared drying type and scales. Thanks to modern heating technology and built-in high-precision electronic scales, the analyzer conducts a quick and accurate moisture analysis;
Device for determining the temperature of the soil;
Wood moisture analyzer;
Thermostat dry-air TS-160 – designed to obtain and maintain a high temperature inside the working chamber;
Aquadistillator DE-10 – designed for the production of distilled water;
A set of sieves for SL-200 seeds;
Garden tool – for the care of woody-shrub plants.
