Information for Applicants from Temporarily Occupied Territories

Published: June 29, 2026

The three fears that most often prevent children and young people from leaving the occupied territories are the fear of conscription, the fear of being left without documents, and the fear of losing their home.

For years, russia has been fueling these myths to keep people under its control. But the truth is quite different: leaving is possible, and upon return, people are not left to face challenges alone.

As part of the President of Ukraine’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative and in collaboration with partners, children and young people can receive:

  • assistance with departure;
  • legal support;
  • assistance with documents;
  • advice on education;
  • help with settling in upon return.

If you are just planning to leave — get in touch. As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, we help people leave free of charge, confidentially and with full support — even if they have no documents. A safe route is selected for everyone.

If you’re not ready to enroll straight away, preparatory programmers are available, including a ‘foundation course’, to brush up on your knowledge of Ukrainian studies, adapt and prepare for your studies at your own pace.

You don’t have to go through the application and study process on your own — there is guidance and support at every stage.

If you need information about applying to Ukrainian universities, the application procedure or educational opportunities — please contact organisations and government institutions via the link https://linktr.ee/vstup_tot?utm_source=linktree_profile_share<sid=7dc7c817-378f-495b-8443-61fc4a802839
