A delegation from Sumy national agrarian university presented its experience in developing Career Hubs to European partners

Representatives of Sumy National Agrarian University took part in the international training session ‘Career Advancement Hub Development’, which took place in Spain as part of the large-scale ERASMUS+ UNITWIN project.

The event brought together academics and administrators to discuss the development of a modern university infrastructure focused on human capital development in the context of the digital and green transformation of the economy. Sumy Institution of Higher Education was represented at the meeting by Vice-Rector Yurii DANKO, Head of the Laboratory of Bioeconomics and Green Marketing Olena NIFATOVA, and Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Logistics Kseniia BLUMSKA-DANKO.

The main topics of the three-day discussions were the development of a network of career hubs, the creation of the SkillNet platform for resource sharing, and the implementation of the latest tools for a virtual inclusive campus. Delegates from SNAU not only took part in discussions on pan-European standards but also presented their own success stories.

In particular, Yurii DANKO provided a detailed account of the practical experience of running the SNAU Career Hub, highlighting effective mechanisms for engaging with stakeholders and the business community. Kseniia BLUMSKA-DANKO outlined the specific features of the communication strategy for different stakeholder groups. In turn, Olena NIFATOVA familiarised her international colleagues with the results of desk research into skills in demand on the labour market, and also shared unique data obtained during focus group sessions.

Participation in this international initiative opens up new horizons for SNAU in terms of integration into the European educational area. The insights gained will help the university to adapt its study programmes more effectively to employers’ requirements, enhance students’ digital skills and create favourable conditions for their professional development.
