The “Agro Future Camp” summer career guidance program at Sumy National Agrarian University is gaining momentum. This time, the university campus welcomed active and inquisitive students from various parts of the Sumy region. From June 15 to 19, the students not only attended classes but also got a real taste of independent student life, the excitement of campus life in the evenings, and the warmth of our community.
The summer school program was packed with activities and included hands-on sessions where everyone could get a taste of the professions of the future. In the electrical engineering and robotics labs, the students assembled lighting fixtures themselves and learned the ins and outs of modern energy systems.
They were particularly fascinated by the virtual reality experience, where, using innovative precision farming simulators, the teenagers operated state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, participants conducted interactive studies on food quality and learned the basics of landscape design.
At the same time, the SNAU Media Center team conducted intensive workshops for young people, teaching them how to professionally capture events on camera and create high-quality digital content.
The summer school culminated in a vibrant presentation of group media projects. Instead of traditional presentations, the students shared their emotions and showed their own edited videos, in which they presented their personal vision of SNAU, its atmosphere, and its modern laboratories. Creative footage, sincere feedback, and sparkling eyes proved that this week had changed their perception of modern agricultural science.
“Agro Future Camp” has once again proven that career guidance at SNAU isn’t about dry theory, but about excitement, real-world experience, and the camaraderie that unites the region. We thank the participants for their incredible energy and look forward to welcoming them to the admissions office as our prospective students!
