We congratulate the multiple winner of the Championship of Ukraine among choreographic collectives, international and All-Ukrainian festivals and competitions of amateur art, the Exemplary Ensemble of Modern Ballroom Dance “SWAY” of Sumy NAU, for winning the grand prize in the All-Ukrainian Art Competition “Winter Games”, which took place on the 6th of January, 2023 in the online format in Kyiv.
The ensemble demonstrated the waltz “I believe”, that was awarded in the category “Adults” (from 19 years old).
The Artistic Director of the ensemble Yurii Serheev says: “I am incredibly proud that in such a difficult time our students do not give up: they train in shelter, with or without light. With the support of Sumy National Agrarian University, we have the opportunity to work, improve our skills, show our skills at various competitions, and win. By the way, this is not our first award this school year. In the fall, SWAY won awards in offline competitions”.
Yurii Serheev was also honoured with thanks for the professional preparation of the participants for the competition, dedication to the cause, preservation and development of Ukrainian culture.
