Sumy National Agrarian University continues to expand its international cooperation and strengthen its position in the European academic community. Pursuant to Order No. 218/1 of the SNAU Rector dated May 3, 2026, Ksenia Blumska-Danko, Ph.D. in Economics and Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Logistics, has been appointed as the university’s scientific ambassador to France. On August 3, the rector of SNAU ceremoniously presented her with a mandate certifying her authority to represent the university in France from 2026 to 2030
In her role as a scientific ambassador, Ksenia Blumska-Danko will work to develop cooperation between SNAU and higher education institutions, research organizations, government agencies, and civil society organizations in France. Among her key areas of focus are developing academic partnerships, launching joint research projects, forming international scientific consortia, securing grant funding, and expanding the participation of the university’s researchers in Franco-Ukrainian educational and scientific initiatives. An important component of the mission will also be the promotion of Ukrainian science and the scientific potential of SNAU at the international level
This appointment was a logical continuation of Ksenia Blumska-Dan’ko’s many years of work in the fields of international cooperation, the development of university communications, and the building of the SNAU brand. She is the founder of the SNAU Media Center, which has become a modern platform for promoting the university, its scientific achievements, and educational opportunities. On her initiative, the university registered the official SNAU trademark and launched the development of the FeedFood by SNAU organic products brand, which combines education, science, and practice.
Over the past year, Ksenia Blumska-Danko has represented SNAU at a number of international events dedicated to the development of higher education, science, innovation, sustainable development, and university branding. She presented the university’s experience at European professional forums, expanded the network of international partners, and helped open up new opportunities for SNAU faculty, researchers, and students to participate in international projects.
The conferral of the title of “Scientific Ambassador” marks another step in the implementation of Sumy National Agrarian University’s internationalization strategy. This form of international representation will contribute to the development of new academic partnerships, the implementation of joint research projects, the acquisition of international grants, and the strengthening of SNAU’s role in the European and global scientific community
