Ivan Kravchenko, a professor at the Sumy National Agrarian University, will receive the Boris Paton Scholarship from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Ivan Kravchenko, a professor at the Law School of Sumy National Agrarian University, has been included on the list of scholars awarded the Boris Paton Scholarship of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2026. In 2026, these scholarships were awarded to 39 scholars in Ukraine.

Ivan Kravchenko is a Doctor of Law and a professor in the Department of Administrative and Information Law at the Faculty of Law of Sumy National Agrarian University. He has been teaching at the university since 2012. In addition to his academic work, the professor practices law: he has been practicing law since 2018, and since 2020 has been an attorney and senior partner at the “YURRAIT” law firm.

The scholarship has been awarded for the research project “Judicial Lawmaking and Its Relationship to the Principle of the Rule of Law in Light of Ukraine’s Sustainable Development Goals.”

This research combines legal scholarship with pressing issues concerning the development of the Ukrainian state and its legal system, and it will be carried out with the support of a named scholarship from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
