From June 1 to June 5, 2026, the Agro Future Camp SNAU, Summer Career Guidance School for students of 7–10 grades of secondary schools, was held at Sumy National Agrarian University.
The event was implemented within the framework of the regional policy on career guidance for children and young people, as outlined in the Regional Action Plan for the Implementation of a Career Guidance System in Sumy Region, approved by the Sumy Regional State Administration.
Agro Future Camp SNAU is an educational initiative of the university aimed at promoting educational and scientific fields, engaging young people in practical and project-based activities, and developing an understanding of interdisciplinary cooperation among professionals in building a sustainable future for Ukraine.
The first week’s program included practical classes, interactive workshops, training sessions, team-building activities, and project work. Throughout the week, participants visited all university faculties, where they took part in thematic activities and practical tasks designed to familiarize them with various academic specialties and the university environment. Particular attention was focused on developing teamwork, communication skills, critical thinking, and initial career self-determination.
A separate component of the program was the media module, during which participants acquired basic skills in creating photo and video content, documenting educational events, and presenting the results of team projects in a digital format.
The final stage of the week was the presentation of student team projects. During this event, participants presented their project ideas and gained their first experience in publicly presenting and defending the results of their work.
All classes and practical activities were conducted in accordance with safety requirements and within a well-organized secure educational environment.
Agro Future Camp SNAU is part of the university’s systematic career guidance efforts and is implemented within the regional approach to developing the youth career guidance system for young people in Sumy Region.
