Maryna Savchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Food Technology at the Faculty of Food Technologies of Sumy National Agrarian University, has successfully passed the competitive selection process for the Swedish-Ukrainian leadership program WISE Woman Ukraine (Women in Sustainable Energy).
Following a multi-stage selection process, which included hundreds of applicants from Ukraine, only 25 participants were chosen for the program. Maryna Savchenko’s inclusion among the finalists is a testament to her high level of professionalism, expertise, and strong leadership potential.
WISE Woman Ukraine is a joint initiative of Sweden and Ukraine aimed at supporting women working in the energy sector, promoting sustainable solutions, and contributing to the restoration of the country’s energy infrastructure. The program includes 14 months of training, participation in workshops, and the implementation of participants’ own “change projects” within their professional environment.
The participation of a SNAU representative in a program of this level strengthens the university’s position as a modern educational and research center that prepares highly qualified specialists and actively integrates into the international community, particularly in the fields of sustainable development and innovative energy.
