On October 2, 2025, Sumy National Agrarian University took part in the All-Ukrainian Conference “University Space: Vision of the Future”, organized by the National University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic” together with the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss strategic directions for the development of higher education in Ukraine, integration into the European educational space, ensuring the quality of educational programs, as well as the search for new models of management and cooperation of universities during military challenges. The event brought together heads of leading higher education institutions, scientists, representatives of international organizations and state authorities.
Sumy NAU was presented by Rector Ihor Kovalenko, who delivered a report “Quality and Safety of the Educational Process in Frontline Higher Education Institutions: Experience of SNAU”. In his speech, he emphasized that even in wartime conditions, the university does not stop developing: educational programs are being modernized, scientific potential is being strengthened, young scientists are being supported, and international projects are being actively implemented.
“For us, this is not just a topic — it is a daily reality in which we are looking for solutions, building new formats of education, and preserving the main thing — the safety and development of our students,” emphasized the rector of SNAU, Ihor Kovalenko.
SNAU today is an example of an institution that, despite the air alarms and challenges of war, demonstrates resilience, openness to innovations, and the indomitability of the educational community. The university is consistently integrating into the European space of higher education, confirming its role as a territory of strength, knowledge, and the future for Ukraine.
