Published: May 30, 2026

On 19 May 2026, to mark Science Day, the Council of Young Scientists at Sumy National Agrarian University organised a plenary session of the annual scientific and practical conference for SNAU lecturers, postgraduate students and undergraduates.

The event was held in a mixed format and brought together representatives from all the university’s faculties, who presented the results of their own scientific research, applied studies and promising developments.

The plenary session was a significant event in the university academic life, as it provided an opportunity to showcase the breadth of academic interests among undergraduates, postgraduate students and academic staff at SNAU. The topics of the presentations covered current trends in the development of agricultural science, food technology, veterinary medicine, engineering, economics, law, biotechnology, construction and environmental management.

Conference participants paid particular attention to issues of sustainable development, food security, adapting agricultural production to contemporary challenges, the digitalisation of management processes, improving the quality of food products, animal welfare, environmental safety and the implementation of innovative technical solutions.

The conference held to mark Science Day has once again confirmed that Sumy National Agrarian University is a major hub for scientific thought, innovative solutions and practice-oriented research. The university consistently supports young researchers, fosters a culture of research and promotes the integration of science, education and industry.
