On 16 April 2026, representatives of Sumy National Agrarian University took part in the webinar ‘Information Integrity: Ethics and Responsibility’, organised by the NACP Integrity Office.
SNAU is a participant in the “Transparent Universities” initiative, so the issue of fostering a culture of integrity, particularly in relation to information, is a key component of the university development.
During the event, key principles of ethical information behaviour, the challenges of disinformation, and the role of critical thinking in fostering a responsible approach to the creation and dissemination of information were discussed.
The speaker was Roman MURZHAK – a member of the European Digital Education Hub and an expert in media literacy – who presented practical tools for identifying manipulation and approaches to fostering a culture of information literacy.
Participation in the webinar helps to strengthen the university internal practices regarding the implementation of the principles of openness, accountability and integrity in the educational environment.
