SNAU strengthens its position in the field of education quality; representatives are included in the Register of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAZYAO) of Ukraine

Pursuant to the decision of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance dated March 24, 2026, the academic and research staff of Sumy National Agrarian University have been officially included in the Register of Experts comprising academic, teaching, and research personnel.

The following individuals have been included in the Register of Experts:

  • Oleksandr Yurchenko, Associate Professor, Doctor of Philosophy in the field of “Mechanical Engineering,” Head of the Department of Energy and Electrical Engineering Systems — in the specialties 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics” and 133 “Industrial Engineering”;
  • Anna Barsukova, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Power Engineering and Electrical Systems — in the specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics.”

The inclusion of SNAU representatives in the NAZYAO Register of Experts attests to the high level of professional competence among the university’s academic and teaching staff and reflects the trust placed in their expertise at the national level.

This achievement is an important step in the university’s systematic efforts to ensure the quality of higher education, as well as a significant contribution by SNAU to the development and improvement of the national system for evaluating the quality of educational programs in Ukraine.

The involvement of university faculty in the expert activities of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAZYAO) will contribute to raising the standards of the educational process, disseminating best practices, and strengthening SNAU’s position as a modern institution of higher education focused on quality, innovation, and European approaches.
