On June 11–12, 2026, Sumy National Agrarian University became the venue for the SNAU Agro Future Camp – 2026 summer school, which was attended by students of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of the chemical and biological profile. The event brought together talented young people interested in biology, chemistry, ecology, agrarian sciences and Earth sciences.
This year’s school was held under the slogan “Creating a community of the future together”. Its goal was to popularize the educational and scientific directions of SNAU by involving students in practical, research and project activities, as well as to form an understanding of how different fields of knowledge interact for the development of a modern state and society.
For two days, participants got acquainted with the university, visited interactive locations of the faculties, participated in master classes, practical classes and research. The program covered a wide range of areas – from agrotechnology, veterinary medicine and food technology to engineering, economics, law and construction.
An important component of the first day was work with the team of the SNAU Media Center. The students got acquainted with the university brand, its values, history and modern opportunities for young people. The participants also joined teams and began preparing their own projects within the framework of the Agro Future program.
The second day was dedicated to the completion of team work and presentation of projects. The participants presented their own vision of the topic “How science will change the world”, demonstrating creative ideas and an interdisciplinary approach to solving the current challenges of our time. In their work, the students raised issues of the development of biology, ecology, agricultural sciences, chemistry and Earth sciences, offering their own solutions for building a sustainable future.
The result of Agro Future Camp – 2026 was not only new knowledge and skills, but also an awareness of the importance of science as a driving force for the development of society. The event once again confirmed the desire of SNAU to support talented youth, create conditions for their professional growth, and popularize scientific activity among future generations of researchers.
We thank the participants for their activity, curiosity, and courage in searching for new ideas. It is such youth that will shape the communities and the country of the future.
