On August 28, 2025, a representative of the trade union organization of Sumy National Agrarian University, the head of the trade union of the Faculty of Law, attended the event “Collective and contractual regulation under martial law: pros and cons”, which was held in Kyiv.
The event became a platform for presenting the results of a study on the practice of suspending individual provisions of collective agreements. The lively discussion was attended by the Head of the FPU, people’s deputies of Ukraine, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, the Office of the International Labor Organization in Ukraine, and all-Ukrainian trade unions.
The day before, on August 27, at a meeting of the Academic Council of SNAU, Igor Mykolayovych was presented with a certificate of gratitude from the Sumy Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine for the high level of social partnership with the industry trade union and for 1st place in the All-Ukrainian competition for the best collective agreement in the budgetary sector. Also, the head of the SNAU trade union, Natalia Kolodnenko, was awarded with gratitude for conscientious public work and effective activity of the trade union.
Sumy National Agrarian University won the competition from the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine in the nomination “Best Collective Agreement in the Budgetary Sector”. This is a significant achievement and confirmation of the coordinated and effective work of the team. The diploma, statuette and valuable prize, a Canon multifunctional printer, were received by the staff of the trade union of the Sumy National Agrarian University.
The trade union organization of SNAU, despite the difficult conditions of today, is doing everything possible to properly protect the rights and support the members of the union, ensuring that working conditions are maintained.
