University infrastructure for workforce development with a focus on dual transformation / UniTwIn
Goals:
UniTwIn aims to strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions to respond to the “twin transformations” – green and digital – by modernizing their infrastructure, services and educational offerings for students and lifelong learners. The project focuses on building institutional ecosystems that support the upskilling and renewal of the workforce, aligning universities’ educational offerings with new labor market needs in the areas of sustainability, digitalization and inclusive growth.
UniTwIn strives:
- develop and modernize career guidance and training centers in partner universities to support the formation of green and digital skills, with special attention to Ukrainian higher education institutions in the context of crisis and reconstruction;
- develop common learning modules, micro-credentials and flexible educational trajectories that integrate green transformation competences (energy efficiency, circular economy) and digital transformation (data management, automation, online collaboration);
- build sustainable networks between EU and Ukrainian universities for knowledge exchange, staff development and co-creation of educational resources and services focused on the development of labor potential.
