Today the university hosted a significant event for student life – the inauguration of the new 2021-2022 academic year.
The University congratulated freshmen and students of the past years on the beginning of a new path to knowledge. This year more than 2,000 students joined SNAU friendly family.
The celebration began with a welcome speech of SNAU Rector, Academician Volodymyr Ladyka. He noted that today SNAU proudly holds the title of the flagship of agricultural education in Ukraine. It is confirmed by a significant increase in funding for the university, which will be aimed at improving the students’ learning and living conditions.
The special guest – a People’s Deputy of Ukraine, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy Maksym Huzenko visited the celebration. He congratulated freshmen on the inauguration. A real gift from Maksym Huzenko was the performance of the famous in Ukraine DJ Angel SAX.
The presentation of all faculties of the university took place with a standing ovation.
At the end of the concert, the freshmen, having made a wish, launched balloons into the sky to make their dreams come true!
