THE SNAU DELEGATION RETURNED FROM A STUDY VISIT TO THE NETHERLANDS

From November 22 to 26, 2021, the SNAU delegation took part in a training with elements of a study visit to the Dutch Business Academy / NLBA (a campus in Dordrecht, the Netherlands) within the framework of the EU project Erasmus + KA2 CBHE “Adaptation and integration of international students” INTERADIS.

The peculiarity of this training was that the participants of the training were treated as foreign students, and, therefore, the participants could experience various practices of communication. The program focused on various aspects of the study of a personality, communication, mediation, psychology with the involvement of experienced and well-known NLBA trainers. In addition, various aspects of working with international students were discussed with the departments of marketing and administration.

The following topics were considered during the training:

– “Analysis of a Personality. Behavior. Character” Professor Jan van Zwitten, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, Entrepreneur, Mediator, Commissioner, Author, Adviser, Coach.

– “Negotiation and Conflict Management” prepared by Gea van Klompenburg, an experienced mediator who specializes in mediation in family, court and criminal matters.

– “Culture and citizenship. University Internationalization Strategy” Dr. Steve Austin, an experienced pioneer of art and entrepreneurship in Europe and director of the CHC MBA. Steve Austin also presented the best practices of another Erasmus + project “European Citizenship, Heritage and Culture” 2017-2020, coordinated by the NLBA.

– “City Strategy for Internationalization” by Peter Haycup, Vice Mayor of Dordrecht.

– “Action Study” Dr. Tony Van Der Zouwe, an expert in effective study of practice, an advisor to many municipalities and universities.

– “A real game of talent”, based on the theory of associations of Carl Gustav Jung from Tara Dick.

The days of the visit were interesting and meaningful for both parties, and the time was spent productively and usefully. The participants will use the new knowledge for scientific activities and research work.
