In 2021, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.05.11 – machines and means of mechanization of agricultural production on the topic “The concept of quality assurance of mechanized agricultural technologies”.
On November 27, 2021, he was elected an academician of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine.
Since April 2022, he has been acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Main academic disciplines: “Theoretical foundations of agricultural machinery design”, “Agricultural machinery”, “Machinery and equipment of agricultural production”, “Substantiation of engineering solutions”, “Design of technological processes in precision agriculture”.
During the period of scientific and pedagogical activity, 205 scientific and methodological works were published, he is the author of 2 textbooks (1 of them – in co-authorship), 3 monographs, including 67 scientific articles in professional journals included in the list approved by the Academic Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; 7 articles and abstracts in Scopus indexed databases; 10 patents for a utility module of Ukraine; 11 workshops; 8 lecture notes; 13 programs of normative academic disciplines; 37 methodological recommendations for laboratory and practical and independent work; 135 abstracts of reports at international conferences, both single and co-authored.
Area of research Ensuring the quality of technological operations in the production of crop production. Precision Farming systems. Robotics. Digital platforms in agricultural production.
