Sumy National Agrarian University is among the thirty best higher education institutions in Ukraine according to the results of the international Webometrics January 2025 ranking compiled by the National Research Council of Spain (CSIC).
The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is a reputable initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab research group, which operates under the CSIC, the largest public research body in Spain, subordinated to the Ministry of Education. The CSIC’s goal is to promote scientific research to develop scientific and technological potential and improve the society well-being.
The January 2025 edition assessed nearly 32,000 universities worldwide. The ranking model is based on web-based data and bibliometric indicators obtained from reliable sources such as Majestic, Google Scholar and Scimago-Scopus.
Sumy National Agrarian University was ranked 27th among 256 Ukrainian higher education institutions, confirming its high level in the national and international educational arena. Compared to the previous year’s result, the position of the university rose from 28th place in the ranking by one step and demonstrated the continuous development of the higher education institution.
